Isabelle Yuan Xing

Isabelle graduated with a BFA degree in Apparel Design from Rhode Island School of Design in 2020 with various technical and design skills under her belt. She is currently pursuing an MFA degree in Fashion Design and the Arts at Parsons Paris | The New School.
Isabelle’s initial source of motivation and inspiration comes from viewing those around her as her muse as she discovers the endless possibilities of colors and silhouettes; she has become infatuated with how fashion design can transform the human body by employing it as an everyday living canvas. She is passionate about a diverse mixture of areas in fashion including visual and graphic design, illustration, 3D modeling and photography. Isabelle has formerly studied womenswear and knitwear; currently, she is focusing on menswear as her dedicated field. Her strengths are in silhouette-focused and transformative designs, as well as a heavy focus on construction, functionality and fusion of materials.

Isabelle has also been working as a freelancer in creating 3D-modeled fashion pieces for the PC-based video game 'The Sims 4' since mid-2021, under the pseudonym 'Grey'. Isabelle is listed on The Sim Resource platform as a Featured Artist and her Custom Content creations have currently reached over 150,000 downloads.
