Womenswear fashion designer Irma Skjöth, where born and raised in the south of Sweden and have through an early age developed an interest and great love for design and fashion.

Combining studies and internships in both London and Copenhagen, Irma graduated from The Swedish School of Textiles mA Fashion Design in the autumn of 2019.

Irma Skjöth's design is focusing in developing new construction based on our needs, wishes and expectations from a new thinking fashion. Her work is of high quality in both materials, details as well as in concept and process with the aim to challenge today's fashion ideal.

Born on the Beach

Born on the Beach started out as a fascination for how environments affect the way we dress and the concept of losing yourself to vacay style. The work questions the meaning of resort wear and the behavior, life style and the state of mind that is creating wear in a certain context.The collection aims to erase borders between fields with in fashion and could thereby be seen as a contribution to both women’s wear, resort wear or the in between.
