The work of Iris van Wees gives an insight of the future of fashion. The collection SCREENCATCHER is the outcome of an intuitive process towards a new and conscious designing process by combining 3D virtual designing programs and the use of waste-banners and flags in collaboration with festivals and events. The combination of complete creative freedom and smart technology resulted into creating the interactive world of SCREENCATCHER where the digital meets our own reality. The project consists out of digital and physical work and offers interaction with the use of Augmented Reality.

Latest Collection

SCREENCATCHER

This collection is fully digital designed within a 3D virtual environment, without using any materials. The final physical pieces are made out of PVC waste-banners from festivals and events. Another part of the collection only stays digital, that you can experience with the use of Augmented Reality on your mobile device. The inspiration of this collections came from working within a new virtual 3D environment, combining super digital graphical shapes and colours with endless visual distractions.
