INOK CHUNG, is a menswear design graduate of SADI in seoul. She was one of the finalists of the H&M Design Award 2016 with her graduation collection. After graduation She worked at several design studios as a freelance designer, designing patterns, garments, artworks for collection. Inok Chung likes to create a sense of awkwardness and sensuality with her creations. The great attention to detail, embroidery, colour combined with over-sized forms give life to the garments. The collections are dedicated to the one who enjoys and values a sense of awkwardness, sensuality.

THE LITTLE GREEN MONSTER

In The Novel ‘The Little Green Monster’ by Murakami Haruki, the little green monster exerts himself to show his affection to the lady. He digs up the dirt to come over the ground, proposes to her. but she despises the little green monster without any specific reason, ignores his affection. Eventually, the contempt leads to murder of the monster. The little green monster miserably gets killed by torture, hatred from the lady. The way little green monster expresses his love, how he stutters, puts on airs to convince her led me to believe that the little green monster is a metaphor for an adolescent boy who longs for love but miserably fails. so this is about a boy, who desperately wants to be loved.
