INGVILD ABRAHAMSEN

Ingvild Abrahamsen is a Norwegian designer currently located in the country’s capital, Oslo. She finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design in 2012, and was picked out as one of the lucky few to showcase her collection at Designer’s Nest during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
In February she exhibited her design during London fashion week at the Scandinavian fashion exhibition. Nowadays she is working both freelance and with her own design. Her focus lies on the quality and details of the garments, as well as having a reference in her design. She gets inspiration from music, photography, vegetarianism, and her friends. But strong, independent women who do their own thing are a great inspiration for Abrahamsen as well. This is strongly reflected in her design, where there are no stereotypical gender roles as to what makes a design women’s wear and what makes it men’s wear.
