A collection inspired by a modal phenomena called cymatics by Hans Jenny, a Swiss medical doctor and a pioneer in this field. The Cymatics are perfect geometrical shapes that are naturally formed on different surfaces by vibrations coming from sounds and music. Mother Nature does not assemble her building blocks randomly or chaotically; harmony exists at all levels. Cymatics are a hidden realm of sound, providing a window into the heart of sonic vibrations, it is sound made visible. I found this topic extremely surprising and beautiful, and most of all because it could be easily connected to the brand ́s concept and aesthetic. I will be considering what I call organic geometry, shapes and natural colours of a specific music ́s cymatics repertoire, and translate them in a subtly and elegant way along the twenty three exclusive demi-couture pieces.
