Hz by Hissa Zainal

The label is the brainchild of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) grad Hissa Zainal, a young and creative Qatari award-winning fashion designer. Hissa graduated from VCU in 2011 with a BFA in Fashion Design and Merchandising. She currently works at Qatar Museums as a merchandise designer, which has given her invaluable experience in production and supplier connections. HZ by Hissa Zainal is a ready to wear label that marries dramatic avant-garde sensibility with timeless simplicity. Since the release of her debut collection, Prologue, Hissa’s work has been featured in fashion magazines such as Ahlan, Style Arabia and Ana Emra’a and has been on the cover of Glam magazine.
