Horse of a Different Colour is a kaleidoscopic tailoring and streetwear label created by London based designer/maker Sasha Jackson on 3 founding principles: Cut, Colour and Print. Savile Row trained, Sasha also draws from her background in painting and printmaking at the Glasgow School of Art. Proudly inclusive and body positive, HOADC is focused on making dramatic and idiosyncratic statement pieces cut to maintain versatility and wearability at their core. Passionate about process, craft and social impact, all our garments are sustainably made in London.

Painted Love

Taking inspiration from Cristobel Balenciaga, the tailoring for this collection follows simple lines, focusing on the beauty and quality of the custom dyed cloth - super soft textured silk noil and Yorkshire milled satin wool felt. The jackets and capes are skilfully cut in one seamless piece, the shapes working with the natural properties of the fabric to create flattering drape and dramatic bounce. The trousers are simply gathered at the side, moulding their fit to the wearer with adjustable volume and swing.

Interspersed with the tailored pieces is a complimentary range of streetwear featuring the Painted Love print, created from a large scale original oil painting. The print runs without repeat, meaning that each of these garments feature a slightly different arrangement of colours and is completely unique.
