Established in London in 2014, Holland Street’s brand encompasses and celebrates creative textile design, wellness and relaxation and the allure and power of femininity. Founder Lauren Barfoot trained at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London where she began dreaming of a healthier fashion industry thus creating a minimal waste production method now used for all the Holland Street products. After designing print for Zandra Rhodes and Alexander McQueen, Barfoot launched her label at Fenwick Bond Street with a capsule collection of silk loungewear. Known for their use of experimental textiles compositions , vibrant prints, and detailed craftsmanship, Holland Street has created a beautiful world of the delicate mixed with the bold and brave but with a popular commercial edge.

Holland Street has received numerous accolades over the years, including the 2016 WGSN Futures New Designer of the Year nomination and the UK lingerie Awards 2015. The BBC Culture journalists Liza Foreman has called Holland Street ‘one of the designers taking the kimono into the future’ and The Financial Times has quoted the products as ''Kaftans and kimonos that capture the zeitgeist’’. Holland Street is sold internationally with customers in America, Canada, Australia, Germany, Hong Kong and many more. Exclusive retailers, including Farfetch, Viola London, Dolci Follie Notting Hill and AhaLife in New York have stocked the last two collections. After launching an E-commerce store in 2014, the brand has grown dramatically due to the popularity of shopping online and the loyal fan base that has been gradually building for years, the label hopes to open its debut showroom in 2019.
