HIGHLIGHT STUDIO is a contemporary Israeli menswear brand founded in 2018 by designer Or Yair Bitton, who specializes in tailoring with a modern vision.

Bitton founded the brand out of his desire to give people confidence and support through fashion as a tool for self-expression and inner empowerment.

Bitton’s collections are very personal and deep, evoking emotion and memory and strive to develop internal and external dialogues.

The dialogues motivate action in the customers and viewers, encourage personal development processes and the healing processes of body and mind.

Or Yair Bitton acquired his professional training at Shenkar, school of design, in Tel Aviv, and developed his skills at the prestigious Central St. Martins School in London.

After graduating, Bitton designed for several local brands and participated in prestigious international projects.

He later began to develop his unique path and identity while focusing on menswear and perfecting his craft of custom-made tailoring.

Bitton’s inspirations come from childhood memories and characters who shaped and influenced his life, and from the Israeli culture over the years.

Further inspirations come from modern contemporary art that receive new interpretations as well as researching various spiritual and internal processes.

SELF - PURIFICATION AW 21

‘’Self-purification’’ collection is essentially a continuation of last collection’s story
“Restart”, the brand is showcasing another layer in the journey of self-healing.

This collection speaks about self-purification, the journey of releasing and letting go of our
doubts, inner fears, anxieties or negative thoughts that we wish not to keep within.
Reaching back to our core, free from memories, ready to recharge ourselves with new inspirations.
The inspiration for HIGHLIGHT STUDIO fall winter 2021 collection came from the book
Zero Limits, written by Joe Vitale with Dr. Iliakla Ho Len, who developed the Ho 'Oponopono
method of self-healing.

The method explains how to easily cleanse oneself from any emotional holdbacks that are
preventing us from moving forward.

The method shows how one can heal one’s self in three stages: love, forgiveness and gratitude. These three principles are reflected to the universe while constantly filtering out the memories from the past. The finalgoal is to reach ground zero, our starting points, where we can finally act out of inspiration rather than out of
memory.

The AW 2021 campaign took place in Beit Jibrin Cave, a 2000-year-old historic cave,
located in the area of the Shfela lowlands in Israel.

This magical location was chosen to help symbolise how one can isolate and converge within one’s self and go through the inner process of being in a dark place and then come out and see the light.

For the first time, the studio collaborated with artist Gabriella Megbo Rotman, an Israeli artist
who specializes in abstract art, most of whose works she creates from memories, deep
emotion and from experiences she went through during her lifetime.
Gabi’s paintings were chosen as they can be seen as a metaphor to our bodies, laden with many colors which are
essentially represented by our fears, traumas, anxieties and memories.

All of which start to clear-up as we work harder to cleanse ourselves. Seeing these works as optimistic and
giving hope that soon it will be possible to start fresh.
