During my second year at Winchester School of Art I did a semester abroad at FIT, New York, it is here I learnt about lingerie and where my interest was born. After university I played with the idea of starting my own label but the time wasn't right. In 2012 I started a children's label which taught me everything about the fashion business. I stopped it due to lack of interest. The design aspect was too safe for me and didn't allow me to be edgy enough. I started Hidden Beneath Underwear in September 2016 and have been pleased with the growth so far.

Latest Collection

Collection 5`

The inspiration for the latest collection comes from the recent talks of sustainability and of the fashion industry's part that it plays in the destruction of our planet. Collection 5 is handmade out of all organic fabrics. The elastics are sourced from a UK manufacturer in an effort to keep the carbon footprint as low as possible and to support local manufacturers in England. The cotton fabrics keep the collection comfotrable but at the same time allow for some experimentation which can be seen in the combstooth fabric which has a terry cloth backing which is not something that's usually found in underwear. The pieces keep to the brands minimal aesthetic and streetwear influence.
