My journey has been shaped by a deep fascination with the rich and extravagant world of Elizabethan era fashion and Rococo interior, coupled with a strong commitment to sustainability specifically round re-use. Through my studies and explorations, I have developed a unique perspective that merges historical aesthetics with contemporary fashion industry techniques and design features.

My interest in Elizabethan era fashion stems from its opulence, intricate details, and the trans-formative power it held during that time. This fascination has led me to delve deep into historical research, examining paintings, literature, fabrications, interior furnishings and archival garments. I am captivated by the ways in which clothing in the Elizabethan era conveyed social status, gender roles, and cultural values. This exploration has enabled me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the craftsmanship and design principles of that period.

However, as my understanding of the fashion industry evolved, I became acutely aware of its detrimental impact on the environment, social well-being and modernization. This realization pushed me to question the sustainability of the industry and seek alternative approaches. I strongly believe that as fashion practitioners, we have a responsibility to address the urgent challenges posed by climate change, waste accumulation, and unfair labor practices.

In response to these concerns, I have dedicated myself to incorporating sustainable practices into my work. I have explored various methods of using recycled materials, seeking innovative ways to re purpose and up cycle rococo décor interiors and furnishing items such as curtains, lampshades, pillows, tablecloths, blankets and duvets covers into my collection “Rococo Décor”.
