My main influences come from everything I have achieved and been affected by throughout my life so far, the diverse range of people I know and their clashing opinions. Although I respect fashion designers today, my main influence comes from raw art, from music, food, paintings, and lifestyles. As individuals we all interpret these differently, they are private to the mind and they have not yet been shaped into something whole and understandable.

Distorted Anatomy

I aim to convey the beauty of the ruined natural form by layering different materials (leather, twine and roushed jersey) that alter the human body via restriction and release. The shades i have worked with are dark and subtle with hints of dark green, mottled navy and greys. Accessories i have added are neck and waist pieces that deny the wearers motion forcing movement to appear unnatural as to give my collection a feeling of distortion.
