HAK STUDIOS is a multidisciplinary, concept driven design studio, working with leather, textiles and ceramics. As the studio’s founder, Alex Kotoulas, draws from both a family heritage and experience in contemporary art and design,

HAK STUDIOS merges traditional techniques with contemporary needs by using a wide range of media that provoke through colours and textures. HAK STUDIOS delivers conceptual collections that celebrate fine craftsmanship and our commitment to sustainability.

Each piece is handcrafted by master artisans in Greece, the result of the dynamic conversation between the designer’s vision and the makers’ expertise.

_ONE

After a long period away from Greece, where he studied in the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands and his first working experience at the leather goods giant of Louis Vuitton, ALEXQUISITE is ready to present his very first complete collection!

Under the title _ONE, he is focused on presenting four fundamental pieces of the contemporary wardrobe for both men and women; a backpack, a tote, a cross-body and a laptop case.

Handcrafted from genuine leather, _ONE is introduced in four bold colour and texture combinations, in addition to a few limited editions fashioned from exotic skins and fur. Each design has been thoroughly developed, aiming to eliminate any decorative element and create a recognisable but subtle formal language in a distinct colour palette.

Each piece is carefully handmade in family owned workshops in Greece. Talented artisans with decades of experience in leather goods have been investing their time and passion into transforming these precious materials into charming pieces for your arm.
