HAAD

Adnan Hajrulahovic Haad is thirty-nine year old BH fashion designer, who lives and works in
Sarajevo. He is a member of ULUPU BIH (Bosnia and Herzegovina association of visual artists). He's
fashion collection are presented in London, Bangkok, Vienna, Dusseldorf, Belgrade, Zagreb, St
Stefan, Tirana, Madrid, Ljubljana and elsewhere, under his own brand HAAD. HAAD is alo his own
production. He has worked with many of the celebrities in BiH and region.
In his reach designer experiance, he has opportunity to explore all aspects of fashion. At the very
beginning of his work as fashion designer, he studied abstract and conceptual fashion, prepared a
pret-a-porter collection, ready to wear collection, sport fashion, was also interested in industrial
fashion but the focus of his design remained high fashion. He also had the styling for television and
video production. Besides all of this, he created costumes too, as well shoes, bags, and accessories. In
other media, he produced radio fahion show, and was a fashion editor in lifestyle magazin Magazine.
As well he has a fashion column on the Men's Portal. He designed for many corporations, per
example Coca-Cola. So far, knowledge and experience he invested in the formation of a large number
of textile and fashion professionals in all spheres of activity, sewing, croissants, constructors and
designers. On the BH fashion scene, he is pioneer of a free and branding approach to fashion. He cooperated
in the construction of many BH fashion brands and also of the BH fashion scene itself.
Haad is father of two children, in love with BH make up artist Edita Hajrulahovic who is also a partner
in the brand Haad. Haad is the son of the jeweler and the grandson of the taylor and hairdresser, so
he believes that art and beauty are his genetic symbiosis.
He is a nature lover and feels that man is happy to the extent that he maintains and preserves his
relationship with nature and the world around him. He writes and published the book of Poetry
"Darkness of Darkness" in 2011, and soon to see his novel debut.
HAAD in the world
Recognize fashion designer in the region and the world Adnan Hajrulahović Haad, whose creations
were delighted by renowned Australian singer Kylie Minogue, stylist of the icon Madonna Carlos
Castillano with whom HAAD has made the cooperation as well as other famous faces.Angelina Jolie
has an HAAD dress inspired by the the last Queen of BH from Middle Ages Catherine Kosaca.
Mabel Santos, a planetary popular hat designer from Spain, whose creations are decorated with
many crowns, one of which is probably Lady D's most famous, has specially designed hats and
accessories for Haad's Gran Via collection. This designer also worked with the renowned fashion
designer Agath Ruiz de la Prada, who was presented in Sarajevo at the Sarajevo Fashion Week.
Haad is one of the few designers in the world who has their own audio themes thanks to the
cooperation with musician Mari Zlatinic and mezzosopran Gordana Topic. For each of its fashion
collections, and fashion show they create music theme that accompanies it.
Last event
In November 2018, in Sarajevo, he presented his collection of Elizabeth Bosanska in independent fashion show and the sponsor was the EU and the Hungarian Embassy in BiH. The EU in BiH has given the fashionshow label of importance for preserving Europe's tradition and cultural heritage.
He find inspiration from the rich historical and cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina and he believes that the role of a fashion designer is to keep the identity of the people to whom he belongs. He doesn't recognize the trend as a category and considers the need for man to go further and seek modern and new solutions.
Haad's opinion is that the suit does not make a man, but the suittells about a man more than he can say about himself. The best dress for him is the one in which a woman feels the best, not recognizing compromises in dress. He believes there are ladies dressed in the rag and look like they are dressed in a $ 1 million dress, but also those in a $ 1 million dress that look like they are clothed in the rag, so the lady is important and not dress. He believes that the greatest designers are the people who wear his clothes.
Awards: 2005 - He won the AzianLinc Fashion Design Award for Best Designer and Design in Taja Silk in 2005 at SFW. 2008 - Haad's "San o Katarini (Kosača)" magazine "2008" opened the days of Europe's culture in Vienna in the famous Viennese Hall. 2015 - He designed a dress of basketball national team of BiH in which the U16 won the gold of Europe in 2015. He was the official equipment supplier and desinger of the sports line HAAD get a game complete sports equipment for the premierleague of Bosnia and Herzegovina in football, FC Sarajevo, FC Velež, FC Čelik and FC Radnik. Representation of BIH in basketball, handball as official equipment carried HAAD get a game. Today Haad get a game wearing many sports collectives and BH representation of rhythmic gymnastics and BH team of ultra runners BURT.
