Grixoa reminds us of where we come from and connects us with our ancestral codes, of what was and what we are now. We create timeless, genderless pieces that cherish our roots and reinforce the idea of what has been inherited, through conscious practices and the use of durable and sustainable materials to make pieces that endure over time; forgetting is not an option. We are a brand that transcends time and lives on in memory.

An innate curiosity and collaborative spirit have made me possible to enter the world of design singularly well equipped. Born and raised in Caracas, I started in the fashion industry at only 15. This precocity would continue throughout my career, placing me today in the role of Chief Operations Officer for sordo© Jewelry.

Although most captivated by the creative aspect of the industry, I always understood that a successful brand is a composite of many elements, from the product and the story to the commercial relationships. In line with this global vision of the industry, I studied both Fashion Design and Fashion Marketing and Management at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Before coming on board the sordo© team, I worked in New York with Angel Sanchez and in the studio of Portugal-based designer Katty Xiomara. I also held roles in the fashion editorial and advertising sectors. Creative yet pragmatic, my inquisitive character has allowed me to comprehend and adapt to the needs of the diverse markets I manage as COO, from the US to Europe and the Middle East.

To a label rooted in innovation and craftsmanship, I bring my love for timeless design and artisanal creations, my passion for exploring how a concept is turned into a reality, and the eagerness to understand the brand’s clients so I can better convey the story behind each piece.

Over the past few years, my professional career has provided me with the opportunity to work as a freelance consultant and mentor, , as well as to launch my own brand, Grixoa. I am proud to have recently opened the doors of Studio by Grixoa, in the heart of Caracas. At Studio by Grixoa, we carefully curate a collection of brands with a shared passion for innovation, craftsmanship, and timeless design, each with its own unique story to tell. Our goal is to offer a truly special shopping experience, where our clients can connect with the story behind each piece and take home something truly meaningful.
