GEORGE KOUSOUROS

As a designer I am drawn to the luxury market. I strongly believe that the catwalk is an arena for exposure used to fully exploit and express the collection concept. My love lies in the creation of showpieces but I find filtering down the concept to a diffusion collection just as challenging and exciting.
In terms of design I enjoy clean cut lines and structured forms. I focus on developing techniques and manipulations, changing fabric properties and surface textures which give the garment an overall luxuriously crafted aesthetic.
This appreciation for the market and my way of working is a culmination of my experiences with Alexander McQueen, Jasmine Di Milo and Ozwald Boateng.
