gabriella svarvare is a swedish designer based in Copenhagen where she recently graduated in 2012 from KEA Fashion.
The design has its foundation in the long-term aesthetics and wishes to inspire the user to have an emotional connection with the clothing, encouraging us to regard clothes as companions in our lives and carriers of our memories, rather than anonymous objects to be used and thrown away.
The design process is a dialogue between the designer and the material, where the work emerges from a synthesis of the tension between past work and the new experiments. This allows the collection to evolve to something new without losing its origins.
