I have a piece of Japanese armor in my house that has been passed down from generation to generation.
I worship this armor every morning and give thanks to my ancestors.
Everyday I look at this armor and sometimes I am inspired by it.

Armor has the ability to absorb external shocks and protect the human body.
I thought this idea could be expressed through various techniques, and I incorporated it into fashion.
I made an effort to extract only the components without giving the image of armor as much as possible.
The motif of armor sometimes looks cheap, and I wanted to avoid that.
I am Japanese, but I do not think that samurai and ninja are representations of Japan. That is the image that foreigners have of the Japanese.

I tackled this theme with soft padding, fire retardant materials, and layered materials.
