femme d’armes is a New York City-based ready-to-wear collection founded in 2010 by sisters Fannie Chan and Connie Majoros. Growing up in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, the sibling duo gained an early awareness for quality and fit by assisting their mother with her job as a seamstress. After pursuing different career paths in styling and finance sector, respectively, Chan and Majoros teamed up with close friend Helena Lau, a Parson’s Grad with extensive industry experience through stints at Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang and Rebecca Taylor to name a few; to launch a fashion label expressing their unique perspectives.

With a name wrapped in strength and beauty, femme d’armes is created in the spirit of independent women who aren’t afraid to make bold decisions. Capturing a distinct downtown sensibility, the brand speaks to the confident customer who brings a touch of grit to her wardrobe. She wears feminine lace in unexpected, modern ways, and is fearless when it comes to experimenting with specialty prints and forward-thinking silhouettes each season. The attitude is decidedly grown-up but never too precious.

femme d’armes is designed and produced in Manhattan's historic Garment District, and retailed in select boutiques around the world.
