Femke graduated from the Willem de Kooning academy, as a social fashion designer. She would define herself as a sculptural fashion composer & social designer.

'I’m not a traditional fashion designer, I make fashion sculptures, which are exhibited in the space as isolated objects. Whithin these objects I hope to generate a conversation and create awareness for various social topics.'

‘A search for originality whitin copycatting.’
Logo culture visualises a melting pot of hacked brand identities that I developed within my own handwriting. It is a new approach that could be used by other people and most likely myself. It is my purpose that people open up about their use of sources, being more transparent in the process of copying.

The line between copying, being inspired by and being original is very thin. I found a method that suits me, and made it my own by exploring the boundaries of the perception of copying. Overtaken by my own touch and approach, now possible to call it my own. But still openly sharing the sourches.
