FAINEANT, established in New York 2017, now locates its headquarter in Guangzhou, China.
Originated from the French word ‘FLÂNEUR’, FAINEANT is defined as a mere observer, relaxed but attentive. Yet, the idea of FAINEANT doesn’t just confine itself within its definition – it proposes a limitless lifestyle that encourages attention to details and contentment to its milieu. FAINEANT presents its concepts of ease and freedom throughout its collections, with its experimental approach to design and unexpected discoveries while combining traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques.
Sensibility and sensitivity – they constantly weave into FAINEANT’s journey.
Trailing the footsteps of history; exploring the unknown through the bustling city; reclaiming the forgotten from the pile of mundanities – Faineants wandered into a field of void and thought ‘Hold’n a second, there might be new discoveries.’
