ESTHER BANCEL, THE JOURNEY OF A WOMAN BOTH A CREATOR AND AN ENTREPRENEUR

Esther Bancel is a young French designer who is committed to responsible fashion. Her wish is to design collections that offer a response to the issue of overconsumption.

Her journey reveals her creative choices and reflects both her influences and her world.
Esther Bancel is from Lyon. Out of SupdeMod, she perfected her techniques and deepened her knowledge of the fashion environment she’s loved since childhood.

After three years of fashion design and pattern construction, Esther decides to come to Paris to join Lord SM Paris, a brand specialized in luxury upcycling, and participates in the creation of outstanding pieces for celebrities: Johnny Depp, Florent Pagny, Pascal Obispo, Hoshi...
This turned out to be decisive in her career and in founding her own label in 2019.

In 2015, still completing her studies, she set up a collaborative association with her partner, Morgan Bancel: the Fashion French Union, the largest collaboration in the fashion sector with more than 8,000 industry professionals.

Morgan and Esther share everything, together they combine the organizational and technical assets, Morgan brings with his background in Science Po, and Esther’s creativity.

Esther decided to start a new company in 2022 offering a 3D modeling service, called the LAB, to become a 3D pattern designer expert and a spokeswoman for the future of fashion.
