Erica Deluchi

Erica Deluchi is an Australian emerging fashion designer graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles (Honours), at The University of Technology, Sydney, in 2014. With a sensibility towards the tactility and behaviour of fabrications, Erica’s design process is influenced, first and foremost, by the qualities of materials. In her design process she looks to explore the relationships between the characteristics of different fabrications and pattern techniques that involve reinterpreting classical or traditional details of clothing. Erica’s work is strong and wearable, aiming to create a statement via understatement.
