My name is Sharon Wendo. Founder and Creative director of Epica Jewellery. I started beading in 2015 and registered the business officially in 2018
I learnt beading skills while on an internship on a Kenyan Government Project called Kenya Youth Empowerment project. Initially I did not think it was going to be a viable career path as i was seeking other job opportunities, however after 3 months as a school receptionist, I realized that it was where my true passion lies and thus it was worth a shot and that is how Epica Jewellery was born.
I am inspired by both the African Culture and modern fashion and my aim is to join those two worlds in my jewellery pieces. My designs are reflected in my brand name, they are Epic and African.
