Designer Emma Griffiths graduated from Westminster University and continued her training with world renowned designer Alexander McQueen, and Zowie Brooch of Boudicca.Emma's individual work has gained coverage by Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, and Drapers amongst many.
Direct from finishing University, Emma opened a pop up boutique selling other designers wares. Her own designs quickly took over the rails as demand increased.

Emma is inspired by all forms of art and design which is reflected in her diverse structural collections. She has recently taken part in the ground breaking BBC show The Apprentice. Her shows have included Graduate Fashion Week, Welsh Fashion Week, and 2010 London Fashion Week. The E.G CORE diffusion range holds the record for the highest ever sales recorded in Topshop EDIT, which was re-ordered after a day, and sold out in a week earlier in 2010.

EMMA GRIFFITHS has been covered by Vogue, HARPERS BAZAAR, Suzie Bubble’s Style Bubble, Kingdom of Style, LO.LA magazine, BBC News online, ABC News trend report on the return of the shoulder pads, Drapers, Fashion 156, and Fiasco magazine. In January 2011 Emma joined forces with celebrity Fashion Stylist and Creative Consultant Rachel Anthony as Co-Director. Previous projects include clients for the Academy Awards (The Oscars), BAFTAs, MTV Awards and music and fashion videos. Rachel has worked freelance for numerous global fashion publications, and as a consultant for well respected brands.

Both Directors have a singular vision of the EMMA GRIFFITHS woman as an independant individual. Unafraid of her sexuality, with an elegant strong attitude.

This is conveyed through the collections consistent ethos of clean lines, with attention to details such as silk tailored linings, and leather zip shields. EMMA GRIFFITHS dresses are lined with traditional girdle mesh to support the body.
Their combined background of experience gives them an insight into what their female clients want.

SPRING SUMMER 2012

E.G Designer Emma Griffiths has taken elements of her ancestry to create a collection that reflect the traditions of love in Welsh History.
For centuries the Celtic Welsh knot of the Love Spoon has been a Welsh expression of love. The men would carve the love spoon into never-ending patterns as a symbol of his love for her. The different patterns would hold meanings for each woman; the pattern used in this collection is symbolic of the strength of love.

The collection reflects a complex contradiction between strength, and the intricate feminine pattern. With intricate laser cut body cages of regal leather, enveloping swathes of billowing silk, for red carpet glamour with elegant strength.
The E.G signature leggings carry warrior undertones of sculptured leather paneling, and taut lacing. The 18ct gold plated shields that adorn the leather breast plates and leggings, were designed in collaboration with world renowned Fine Jeweler Gisele Ganne.

For E.G Emma Griffiths the collection was an important expression of their heritage, the legends of the Celtic Knot, and the legacy of craftsmanship.
