Latest Collection
Presenting a new collection Mindlessly is inspired by the painting Judith Beheading Holofernes by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. The painting shows pious Judith killing the warlord to save her people from the war. With this act, she showed great self-sacrifice and strength and earned the respect of her people for her bravery. The inspiration for this collection comes from this act of rebellion. It represents all the sacrifice and power that a woman holds and gives her the confidence to stand tall. The main focus of the collection is the versatility of the garments. The outfits are layered and can be combined and modified as the individual wishes. Stacking and adding clothing items leads to the bending, falling, and creasing of clothing items, highlighting the texture, characteristics, and uniqueness of each outfit.
Parts of the garments, like the pants, can be opened, showing the beauty on the inside. A pure white blouse has removable sleeves and other parts, giving the collection more variation. The dress is made from silk and pleated, with the darker parts colored to create more dimension when tied with a strong statement piece like the leather vest. The jackets are oversized, giving comfort and tying the whole collection together. Strong contrasts in colors and folds are an important part of the collection and give it a rebellious, edgy style while providing the wearer with comfort and mindless wearability.
