Elvira, swiss born, raised and based fashion designer. graduated 2021 from the University of Arts and Sciences FHNW at the Institut of Fashion Design in Basel, Switzerland.
In my creations Im including dead stock fabric and focussing on swiss textiles, I like to reuse, repair and rework pieces. to create materiality or make a unique surface, I like to put a lot of handwork and craft into my designs, that require a slow working progress but also makes the creations especially unique by carrying the handwriting.
My creations are colorful, or only creme and white. I like to work close on the body but also on body extending constructions. The silhouettes are mostly completed by accessories like glasses, shoes, hats, wigs, jewels,.. pieces that make you feel empowered, something that triggers positively you’re resilience.
