ELSA LULA

ELSA LULA is a luxury prêt-a-porter women's wear brand that was born in 2016 Toronto. The brand is inspired by two fashionistas in the 60s and 70s that were both the aunts of the designer, for this reason the collections focus on duality and the idea of pulling inspiration from a plethora of sources to create a more diversified aesthetic. ELSA LULA features two collections in one season; one for Elsa and the other for Lula to create contrast, this provides the customer with a wide variety of items that can be made their own.

The design process for the brand is executed through the influence of the real life fashionistas Elsa & Lula and inspired by their style code;

Elsa's side of the collection holds a timeless style, clean lines with complexity in design and a touch of modernity.

Lula's side features a more youthful and whimsical design that has exaggerated lines and a hint of old world structures.

The brand uses high end environmentally friendly fabrics and is all hand made in house by a team of talented couture dressmakers in Toronto, Canada.

ELSA LULA’s fashion designer was born in 1993 in Saudi Arabia. Her love for fashion started as a child when she modelled in fashion shows and grew up inspired by the creative ensembles her mother created. At an early age the designer started designing clothing for women and later started collaborating with seamstresses to bring her sketches to life, designing clothing for friends and family. While attending the University of British Columbia she decided to put her decade worth of hands on experience in fashion and design to use, so in 2015 she launched ELSA LULA. Since she has attended Istituto Marangtoni’s fashion courses to add to her fashion know-how.
