In the East, the silence has a deep spiritual meaning that invites to a journey, the discovery of the roots of our lives.
It's just "From the silence that can be born the real listening".
For the Eastern world, meditation is the breath of the soul.
The term "Zen" is used to express meditation. The word Zen is derived from the Sanskrit root "dhyana".
"Dhyana" means a state of absolute silence, a silence without thoughts, but full of awareness. Even the thought: "I am aware" is enough to get distracted from meditation.
A state of meditation is a state of innocence and silence.
The absolute silence of Zen is a word fraught with silence. Is, in fact, just the quiet that makes up the meditation, which everyone learns to use words.
Certainly, today, when "virtual", like ours, it is difficult to understand, deep down, a culture of this type. Often our conversations are nothing but a continual repetition of the same formulas, stereotypes shared by the multitude, the same social, political and business chants. Then, to get out of these mental and logical patterns, made of clichés, we should start to look for the din of silence. Only then will we be able to recognize its true essence.
To meditate is to wake up, remember to self themselves, observe it, at the same time, not to be overwhelmed by the chatter of the mind. Only through meditation and manual tasks, in fact, you can access the knowledge, to the pure and true. So, likewise, knitting wool, nothing is left to chance: everything is placed along one direction and a logical order.
From this it comes to life the "HUSH" collection.
A collection inspired by Japanese Zen culture and their harmonious gardens.
The famous Zen gardens are places that are surrounded by natural elements filled with an intimate minimalist and essential meaning, are able to rediscover the soul's well-being.
Natural elements such as water, plants and stones are represented in a symbolic way. In stones and waves, drawn by the rakes of the monks in the gravel, these stories and metaphors are built.
Knitting soft colors and balls of wool, imperturbable nature of these gardens is transformed into maxi sweaters, dresses, jackets and coats. Rakes are transformed into irons. Wool stones emerge twisted mesh rivers. Stormy seas and reefs off the coast one can see in my woolen garden.
Hush has seven outfits, totally machined grilled, spanning the craft, work, only, manual and Eastern mystical culture. Framed by fine pure silk pajamas, robes and culottes, recalling the calm and inner serenity. The yarns and fabrics of wool and merino wool, extrapolate the soft, cool colors of gravel and rocks: cream, face powder, light and medium gray.
