e l e n a b o b y s h e v a is a contemporary luxury womenswear label defined by craftsmanship, attention to detail, and modern minimalism. Inspiration drawn from geometry and structural design is combined with an emphasis on various monochromatic textile combinations. The label was founded by Elena Bobysheva after graduating from Columbia College with a double Bachelor's in Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management. During her studies, Elena has won numerous competitions in design and business strategy, using her winnings as capital to launch her label. A life-long animal rights activist and vegetarian, Elena does not use fur, leather, or exotic skins in her designs. The essential components of the label is tailoring, unique textile combinations, and a combination of soft and hard geometrical lines. e l e n a b o b y s h e v a was found on the principles of sustainability, ethical sourcing, and responsible manufacturing, without losing innovative design elements or a strong fashion message. e l e n a b o b y s h e v a designs for the woman that seeks artistic, collector pieces for her wardrobe, in addition to being a conscious consumer that seeks innovation and quality.

MISSION

e l e n a b o b y s h e v a is building a long-term sustainable and cruelty-free modern ready-to-wear company through the infrastructure of an in-house cut-to-order business to maintain quality and proper dressmaking techniques. Launched in 2013, e l e n a b o b y s h e v a is committed to delivering beautiful, quality garments that are made with integrity, care, and in compliance with our ethical values. We are committed to creating an honest and responsible business that not only considers the future of design, but also the future of the planet and all its' species.
