EGO NON

Born in 1990, Anca is a young fashion designer based in Bucharest.
After graduating the BA degree in fashion at the Bucharest National University of Arts in 2012, establishing the fashion brand EGO NON turned out as both a catharsis and a solution to the utter necessity of expressing her creativity and bringing her ideas out to the public.
Taken from a well known biblical scene, the name represents and resumes the brand's ethos - the power of stating your own convictions, and the ability of remaining true to them, even if this means withstanding the majority's outlook. Every item is created in this spirit, and every idea revolves around the principle of helping your own personality come out, embracing your uniqueness and expressing through clothes, standing tall and sending a strong message about yourself for others to see.
The reference points & inspiration for her creation always emerge from the great interest towards keeping up to date with the facts that determine the changes in the present social tendencies, beliefs and cultural movements, and from deeply understanding the human mind and the individual, in his entire complexity.
