Philadelphia University (PhilaU) which began as a textile school in the 1800s, now offers more than 60 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs in fields such as architecture, business administration, design, engineering, liberal arts, science and health. Philadelphia University also requires undergraduate students to spend two semesters taking physical education classes or playing sports. There are more than a dozen Philadelphia Rams varsity teams that compete in the NCAA’s Division II in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, and many intramural sports as well.

The PhilaU fashion design program prepares you to influence the fashion design world. Our alumni work as fashion professionals in all areas and levels of the fashion industry, following in the footsteps of our distinguished faculty who have served as leaders in both the design and production sides of the fashion industry. With such a strong network of fashion expertise, you will have plenty of opportunities to land coveted internships and start careers in companies including Nannette Lepore, BCBG Maxazria, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Urban Outfitters, and Vogue Magazine.
