DRESSAP by Anna Pirowska presents resort collection | UNEVEN 16
The collection for men and women is an effect of technical experiments made by Anna Pirowska and her fascination with - severe, geometrical form, futuristic architecture and Scandinavian minimalism. Uneven - this word has become a key for the new DRESSAP projects. It is shown in an image session created by talented Dawid H. Gronski.
DRESSAP UNEVEN 16 collection includes many structural and geometrical innovations in a form of cuts and lines printed on the fabrics, which were inspired by modern architecture and severe, Scandinavian nature. Fabrics that were used include wool, leather, eco leather, polyamide, organtine and silk jacquard in floral design. A lot of them have crumpled facture or characteristic cracks (especially white leather). Clothes made of silver polyamide were manually crumpled and pressed, in order to obtain uneven, broken edges. A novelty are asymmetrical fronts in a long, woman’s coat and woollen, light jacket and sleeves sewn in the shape of rhomb. There are also irregular, uneven quilting in a man’s polyamide coat and silver skirt.
For the first time, DRESSAP collection also includes men’s line. This line includes trousers, T-shirts made of translucent organtine, jackets, shirt and long polyamide coat. The designer chose materials contrarily, for example, silk jacquard with an imprint in floral design, of which bomber jacket or classic shirt were sewn. Women’s line DRESSAP is, above all, A line skirts, blouses, long dresses and coat and jacket made of wool in dull, powder pink – a similar colour to Rose Quartz, specified as one of the most fashionable in 2016 by Pantone.
DRESSAP collection is dominated by subdued colours. Strong element is introduced by shiny, metallic silk and salmon leather, which reflects the light like a mirror. Translucent organtine with a characteristic imprint which resembles a network of blood vessels gives an interesting effect. Men’s T-shirts and A line skirt were made of this.
DRESSAP collection is complemented with accessories: leather clutch bag made of cracked, white leather, bracelets, backpack with shiny, silver sequins and quilted scarf with a polyamide.
Most of the models is only made-to-order, which makes them unique.
