Minna Kao is the founder and creator of Dream of Songs. Born producing, her first collections were plastic bracelets sold to her elementary school classmates in Houston TX. After graduating from the University of Texas, she went to Paris, like any sensible fashion obsessive would, for a 6 month apprenticeship under Diane Pernet and Alan Faye. In Paris she fell further in love with Haute Couture, and the art of handcrafted fashion. She traded baguettes for bagels with further studies at Parsons in New York. A brief detour to Tokyo quickly turned into a lifelong appreciation of the art, design and the concept of "wabi-sabi" that informs Japanese culture. Upon returning to New York, she opened MinnaK a bridal and eveningwear company. In 2013, she fell in love with 3D design and a new world of mind-blowing possibilities. It's a love affair at the heart of Dream of Songs. Dream of Songs mixes traditional craftsmanship with a futuristic approach.
