Australian-Chinese designer Doris Qiu founded DORIS Q In 2012, after creating her first capsule collection to be sold in Soho select store TIKKA, which got sold out immediately. While studying at University of Technology Sydney, Doris also attended numerous prestigious schools on exchange at Central St. Martin’s and Instituto Marangoni.

DORIS Q opened the New Generation Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in 2014 and was selected as top 10 collections by US Elle.com and top 15 emerging talents by Vogue Australia. She was invited by Mercedes Benz China Fashion Week to show her SS15 collection in Beijing, and was selected as 15 Most Iconic Chinese Fashion Designers by ELLE China.

Her sporty chic aesthetics has gained industry attention from international celebrities and press such as Brazilian IT girl Helena Bordon, Australian blogger Dasha Gold @ The Trend Spotter, HK celebrities Charlene Choi, Miriam Yeung just to name a few.

Her collections have been recognized by the architectural structures and unique prints, mixed with sporty fabrics and details. Black, white and blues being the basis palette of her collections but often injected with splashes of bold colours and metallic. The DORIS Q girl is a minimalist, is sporty and chic and full of character. DORIS Q’s core value is to create classic pieces of the future.
