The brand is built around a vision:
Imagine a mood after the apocalypse, when everyone is fighting for survival. However, the re-starters perceive, that they only have future on planet Earth, if they will live in harmony with nature.

Each of the collections carry this hypothetical vision of the future, hoping that the message reaches us in time so together we could make change happen before it's too late.

The specialty of the pieces lies primarily in innovative cutlines and besides, everything is hand-dyed and knitted by us on a vintage knitmachine from recycled cotton yarn. Each collection is released in limited editions.

#futuretribeofnature

DESIGNED BY DÓRA TESÉNYI.
FOUNDED IN 2012, THE BUDAPEST BASED BRAND IS CALLING UPON WOMEN TO JOIN TOGETHER IN AN IMAGINARY TRIBE BY WEARING DORAWYN'S UNIQUE PIECES.

WE PRODUCE OUR OWN FABRICS
DORAWYN knitwear is something that you can be proud to wear. We use recycled, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 qualified, 100% cotton yarn for our knits. It's not only a natural choice but it's environmental friendly. Our collections are mostly created from our own produced cotton knits. Predyed yarns (black) were dyed with oeko-tex certified dyes using less water.

We gathered together with one of the most experienced knitmasters around, ALBERT KOLOMPÁR who produces DORAWYN knitwear on a vintage knitting machine (Universal from 1970) in his own knitting studio, after experimenting together.

WE USE ORGANIC FABRICS
To be able to offer a high variety of fabrics, we use GOTS certified organic fabrics only, besides our own produced knitted fabrics.

WE USE HANDMADE LABELS
Our sewn-in caring informations labels are printed on nylon ribbons one-by-one, by the hands of EMESE LÁSZLÓNÉ KOVÁCS.

OUR GARMENTS ARE HAND-DYED
What makes DORAWYN clothing so unique? It's the dyejob that is done separately on each piece. We either use plants, either low impact dyes to create the desired color that makes every piece look totally unique and outstanding.

For dying, we use rainwater as many times as possible, that is collected in a tank underground.
We use a very small amount of water - 0,8 gallons - for dyeing one piece of clothing.

OUR COLLECTIONS ARE RELEASED IN LIMITED EDITIONS
We find it important to not only create clothing, but to create artwork that amplify your small differences. We don't produce clothing, we create wearable art.
