Dika Obiaju

Dika Obiaju was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a BFA degree in Fashion Design in May 2015. Her three years in the Fashion Program was life changing. Before getting accepted into program, she had dreams, and still does, of changing the entire world starting with her home country. Having a strong work ethic, Dika accepts each challenge. She strongly believes in herself and works hard to excel in all areas of academia. Her aesthetic design is a combination of both avant-garde and high fashion prêt à porter (ready to wear) inspired mainly by current affairs, modern architecture, and menswear. She would one day love to work and live in New York, Paris, London, Belgium, Italy, and Japan. Her current goals to accomplish are speaking fluent french and Italian, owning a successful self made fashion empire, travelling around the world to acquire more knowledge, and one day help bring world peace.
