Contemporary Womenswear brand, Desirée Iyama was founded in 2016 by the eponymous designer as a way to bring her sophisticated and feminine, yet playful and effortless style to her friends and followers.
Our iconic ready-to-wear clothes and bags are instantly recognisable to the burgeoning community of women who enjoy them for their contemporary distinct impact and enduring appeal. inspiration is drawn from Western influences with an emphasis on sharp tailoring, clean silhouettes and attention to detail.

About the Creative Director: after attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Diploma in Leadership Development at Covenant University, Desirée has just completed a Short Course IN Art Direction for Fashion at UAl: Central Saint Martns, and a Master's degree in Fashion Business at the British School of Fashion. Designing for her runs in her blood, as both her Mother and Grandmother are designers. She has been designing from a tender age. Desrée iyama initially started in 2012 as a fashion blog where the designer made and sold diy outfits, but officially launched as a brand in 2016 majorly focusing on fashion design. While in the university, She designed clothes for friends and received several awards in Fashion. Some of which include; the overall best designer award at Redefinition Fashion Week, and Best Designer of the Class of 2017 set. In 2017, Desirée was awarded the SME100NIGERIA 25 under 25 enterprising youths award in Fashion.
