MEET THE DESIGNER

Born and bred in the Netherlands, Eefje Sarah Dierickx grew up in a creative household. Her artist father and brother introduced her to a world of graphic art, color and architecture. But it was her mother who imparted Eefje with an innate sense of style, and skill for cutting patterns and sewing clothes.

That youthful enthusiasm for fashion eventually led Eefje to pursue her studies in design — first at ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem and then as a graduate student at the prestigious Central Saint Martins. Since then, she has hopscotched across the globe — from London to Paris to New York — as a womenswear designer for a gamut of fashion labels like Calvin Klein, Isabel Marant, Preen, alice + olivia and COS.

Eefje expresses her bold creativity and penchant for streamlined silhouettes through Mei L’ange, a new contemporary line of timeless swimwear.
