Drawing on her background as a graphic design director, Canadian designer Morgan Mallett is passionate about exploring new design territory through the use of innovative sustainable materials and techniques. Frustrated with not finding accessories and clothing that she wanted to wear, Morgan took matters into her own hands and founded her independent design studio—Design + Conquer—in 2009. Since then, her work has been featured in: Harpers' Bazaar, ELLE, Toronto Fashion week, film and television productions, and sold and exhibited at museums and boutiques around the world.

Decrypt

Decrypt was inspired by the allied military codebreakers of WWII at Bletchley Park (in England). Just like a coded message, each design in Decrypt is not as it seems. Each piece shifts covertly from clothing, to sound-absorbing art, to digital asset. The acoustic felt used in Decrypt is also not what it seems—it is made from 70% post-consumer polyester. rPET (recycled polyester) takes approximately 59% less energy to produce than virgin polyester, and is of comparable quality.
