Deb Fanning is a young dynamic milliner from Dublin.

Deb is mostly self-taught through experimenting with different millinery materials, fabrics and aesthetics. She enjoys the creative process immensely, from the first kernel of an idea to its manifestation into a hat or headpiece.

Deb describes her designs as “Contemporary with an Edgy Twist”.

Deb not only designs original bespoke pieces, she also creates a fun and colourful collection of hats and headpieces each season.

Deb’s designs have featured in the Brown Thomas, Irish Tatler, Hot Press, The Irish Independent, The Wedding Journal and TV3’s Xpose to name but a few.

'Til Death Do Us Part

Over the last year Deb Fanning and Emma Synnott have been working towards a very personal collection to showcase a collective piece of work.

"Having both lost our Dad’s over the last 18 months, we became a huge support system for each other through the unique journey of meandering grief. We decided to work on a project together that would help us to express our grief, and using our creative abilities, focus on opening and normalising a healthy conversation around grief."

The artistic collection 'Til Death do us Part features 12 black and white hats and headpieces handmade by milliner Deb Fanning and photographed by Emma Synnott.
