DEAD SLEEKIT is award-winning Scottish designer Iain MacDonald’s new independent clothing label based in Glasgow.
A limited edition debut collection is now available. Each piece in the collection includes digitally printed fabrics featuring Iain’s hand illustrated textile prints. All items are hand made in Scotland. Every collection is designed by creating cutting edge textile prints before having them digitally printed in the UK.
Iain’s collections are inspired by art, music & books and form a sleek and edgy aesthetic. We source our fabric in the UK and manufacture our clothing in Scotland. Never compromising on quality we focus on British manufacturing and printing.
With our love for textile design, we create our own hand designed fabrics, having them digitally printed, before producing each collection. The founder of Dead Sleekit studied at Grey’s School of Art and specailsed in Textile Design for Fashion. Iain also gained work experience both at Alexander McQueen and Katya Wildman’s studio. After successfully pitching to the Prince’s Trust and securing backing from them the brand also secured £14,000 of private investment. Iain MacDonald also won The Herald Fashion award, Scottish Online Fashion graduate of the year in 2014.
