DARIO SCAPITTA DESIGN

I was born on the 4th of September 1975 in Valenza (Italy), capital of Italian goldsmiths. Here I studied jewellery design, and then dedicate myself to the study of set design and interior design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan.
Nature, art, architecture, fashion. These are just some of the many source of inspiration my creations. New interpretation and contemporary shapes to create unique jewellery, made using advanced technologies as 3d printing. Each object is highlighted by a touch of glamour and elegance, that does not leave you indifferent. My work is evolving every day, always looking new forms and material combinations. My creation are not just jewellery, but modern body ornaments. Comfortable and easy to wear e very day or in a special event, always to highlight your style. Inspiration is the basis of all creation, the beginning of all. A landscape, a place, a feeling... all these things can become a valuable shiny object. The creativity of an artist can transform inspiration into art, wearable art, to wear everyday or in special occasions. My philosophy looks to simple forms, colours and materials, everything can become precious. From nature to architecture, from sky to earth everything can influence my mind, bringing it to study new forms and colours. Using non-precious metals also the style of an object that can make it important. Also simple and different materials can decorate the body with elegance, without covering the soul, but rather bringing it outside.
