Daniela Hoyos is a Colombian designer who deeply believes in the importance of keeping the
cultural legacy alive through the beauty of handmade things, because she thinks that by
combining innovative design ideas with ancestral craft techniques, new value is given to
ancient traditions.
Her story begins in 2014 when she participates in a design biennial created by Artesanías de
Colombia where she had the opportunity to meet and work hand in hand with Victor Onogama,
a young Embera Chamí artisan. Thanks to this, a working bond was generated, which allowed
them to continue creating new designs. From there began Daniela's inclination to implement
traditional craft techniques to keep the cultural legacy of her country's craftsmanship alive.
Later Daniela Hoyos evolves as a brand and ventures into the world of jewelry, where she
currently develops pieces implementing the Mompox filigree technique, fusing it with Cartago
embroidery to create a proposal that has differentiated her in the Latin American market.
Her love for the land, the traditions of her Latin origin and fashion have inspire her to leave her
soul in each of her accessorie
