POINT OF VIEW
“The art is in the viewer.” (Jeff Koons)
Everyone has his/her own perception of life, every one of us observes the surroundings in an original way. Everything is relative. Everything we perceive, feel and think is only a point of view. Every conclusion regarding experience, thought or emotion, about anything that happens to us, is no more than a point of view. Everyone sees only a section of the universe that surrounds us. The connection between component parts /the whole: each of us sees only a section of the universe that surrounds us, yet the whole ensemble is composed from these parts.
I created my fashion collection based on these ideas. In the creative process, I set out to pursue three main themes: perspective, divisionism and recycling.
Perception is treated as a particular way of seeing the physical environment and social plans. Perspective entails a particular way of seeing things: an aspect under which things are presented, a point of view.
Divisionism is a way of composing color in relation to the different distances of where we perceive the textile textures. Through certain weaving techniques we can achieve a visual effect: if a viewer looks at it up close, it looks like a bunch of colored textil fringe, but if he or she takes a step back, the colored fringes blend together to form a unitary colour.
Recycling is involved as a creative value by eliminating the waste of material. I created a 0 waste collection. This was achieved by using the scrap materials that remained after the cut to create new hand weaved texture. I did not throw anything away. As basic fabric I used recycled materials - washing tests from a FLO-CERT, Ökotex Standard 100 qualified Zarah Moden manufacturing from Târgu Secuiesc with the size of 150 cm x 70 cm. Sustainable fashion - slow fashion – recycling - green thinking - echo thinking - no waste - environmentally friendly - EcoChic Design, Zero waste design.
I made footwear, high hels without heels In collaboration with mono shoes & accessories. The shoes follow the aesthetics of the dresses.
With my collection I wish to lead the people to the world where people are more conscious of the environment, about the beauty of life, fashion, of themselves, a world in which people are more open to the creativity and beauty. I think this perspective is one that deserves the effort.
