178 explores Hollywood through glamour and sexuality. It was born out of dissatisfaction with the conventional proposal for men’s underwear.

The collection combines jewels and undergarments in the form of briefs, thongs, and jockstraps. It has been inspired by early 1930’s Hollywood and the beaches of modern-day Los Angeles, the superficially glamorous world. The colours of the collection are the representation of the dimming sunlight of the City of Angels. The hand-sewn embellishments have been inspired by the décolleté brooches and jewellery from the 1930’s Art Deco era.
