Yojiro Kake presents a women’s collection Heartless Heart characterised by complex volumes created by the layering of different fabrics and prints, plays of textiles in multicoloured chromatic contrast. Inspired by the Japanese film “Heartless”, which recounts the drama of a man destroyed by the loss of his daughter, Yojiro’s collection tells a story built of strong emotions. Thus the looks are intended to evoke the iconic image of the film, handkerschiefs blowing in the wind and the memory of the girl, while the plays of light and shadow hark back to the American artist Miwa Matreyek.
