The starting point of the collection is the documentary called “ The Century of The Self”.
The Century of the Self asks deeper questions about the roots and methods of consumerism, and commodification and their implications. It also questions the modern way people see themselves, the attitudes to fashion, and superficiality. This documentary helped me realize how my desire is constituted and had to look back at my teenage memory when I always wanted to have lifestyles that others were living in.
