The “Wangülen” (star) collection represents the spirit of feminity in Mapuche culture and the lifecycle of the Mapuche women. It is said that the earliest woman in the Mapuche culture was first a star in the sky. At the conclusion of her life, if she has lived justly and left a good memory behind her, a Mapuche woman may turn into a star again, and the symbol therefore represents the cyclical nature of human life and our relationship to the universe.
